Heather Gillis - Guide
Heather lives in Sequim, WA and is a
WMA certified Wilderness First Responder as well as a Leave No Trace Master Educator.
She spent 7 years as a backcountry ranger in Olympic National Park. She has backpacked all over Olympic NP and has also
backpacked various destinations in California, Colorado, Arkansas, and the Great Smoky Mountains
She is also a Yoga Teacher certified at the Kripalu Center in Massachusetts. Everybody loves Heather.

Brett Vivyan -- Guide
Brett is a Wilderness First Responder
and an incredible cook who lives in Arcata, CA.
He has thru-hiked the entire 2200 mile Appalachian Trail. Wow!
Brett hass served as Program Director and Naturalist at the Ralph S. Mason YMCA camp and the Web of Life Field School.
He has also backpacked 1 month through the Peruvian Amazon, as well as the Catskills,
NY, Dolly Sods, WV, Sangre de Cristo, CO and Sonora Pass, CA

Erika lives in Tacoma, WA
and is a Wilderness Medicine Institute / NOLS certified Wilderness First Responder and
Certified Leave No Trace Master.
Erika is a graduate of a NOLS educator semester where she spent 90 days in the wilderness in Grand
Tetons, WY and Canyonlands, UT. She is also a member of the
Washington Air National Guard and spent 4 months in Kandahar, Afghanistan. She has guided
trips to Mt. Rainier with Fatpacking.
