A reality show?

We here at Fatpacking are interested in pursuing a project we call "Fatpackers".

Reality shows fall into two categories:

1. Elimination Shows with Prizes (Survivor, The Amazing Race)
2. Transformation Shows (Trading Spaces, The Swan)

We envision Fatpackers to be primarily Transformational, but only for a few non-eliminated participants.

The Basic Plan

Several Fatpackers will be chosen to hike the 223 mile John Muir Trail. Each participant will be profiled in an introductory episode, and their vital statistics will be recorded, along with before photos and videos.

Each week, a participant will be eliminated. Elimination may be based upon weight loss, group vote, or a combination of both.

At no time during the month-long hike will participants be allowed to see themselves.

When the hike is finished, the winners will be taken to New York City for a complete makeover.

The reveal is done in front of friends and family, with emotional testimonials

Current Status:The concept is being shopped around to various production companies and network executives. Updates posted as available.
