Fly into Phoenix. We will pick you up and assemble at the airport.
Check into Red Roof Inn, Tempe, AZ. 480-449-3205.
Equipment shakedown and then go out for dinner in town.
All the items that you won't bring on the trail will be set aside.
You'll also have an opportunity to take one last shower as this is your last stop in civilization for about a week.

There are several springs on the trail in the Four Peaks Wilderness. If the trail seems dry,
we may stop at Granite Spring, otherwise, we'll look for water past Buckhorn Mountain
